Maybe we will finally see a new Tarmvred album? For sure is a new album for Zeromancer. And of course I've planned a few holidays in the festival-season: the WGT, Amphi and probably also Maschinenfest and Sziget. I'm planning to visit the Forms of Hands-weekend as well.

P.S.:
2007 was a good year for me. Even though the last month was rather similar to hell, it was all worth it now I look back at it. I graduated, found a great job and my own apartment, in the center of the country. Therefore, visits to the big cities are a lot more realistic, so concerts and festivals should be prepared for me ;).
Bad aspects of the year? Oh yes, among them are the closure of the Goudvishal, a great venue in Arnhem, the closing of Dependent records and all those artists that decided to call it a day. There's not much to earn if people don't purchase your music which is a bad aspect of this two-faced scene. With remarks to that, I expect that 2008 will be no different and we can safely ignore each other and keep on burning and shouting at each other in that year.

It has been an interesting year. Both musical and private. A lot of changes happened, got to know some great new or old acts and saw some interesting live acts.
Although the Dutch gothic scene contains plenty of organisations and people I love and respect very much, the mediocrity and lack of integrity of some people and organisations within the Dutch "gothic scene" have a negative effect on the entire scene.

It has been a very busy year, working overtime almost every day besides that working on a new house and in the mean time trying to make some time to enjoy a few concerts. Working gives you the means to be able to travel to the best concerts but in the mean time it takes away the time to do so. I hope 2008 will bring us more great concerts and albums and gives us the time to enjoy life. In a short I want it all !

(Samsas Traum) in Parkhof (Alkmaar), so it was a memorable year.

Well, that’s not an easy question! I’ll make it ‘the best out of all this categories’ and that’s a re-release for this year. This year I got introduced to Malice Mizer (too late – I know, I’m ashamed!) and I bought their latest album ‘Bara no Seidou’ in the special re-release. Both the music and the artwork truly amazed me, so that’s definitely worth mentioning!

Another though one, how can I ever make a choice out of all those thousands of video-cd’s that I’ve seen this year! ;) Well, I have to go for the best live DVD then, and that would be ’20 years of electronic avantgarde’ by Deine Lakaien.

The Host, Babel, Rampo Noir, 300, Little Children, The Banquet, The Simpsons movie (Spiderpig!), Princess, The Curse of the Golden Flower, The Illusionist (magic!), The Prestige (even more magic!), Lucky number Slevin, Deathnote (the movie – first part was definitely the best), Hot Fuzz (brilliant!), Knocked up, The Fountain, Sunshine (this must be the first sci-fi-movie in my list of favourites ever!), Pan’s Labyrinth, and the amazing ‘Planet Earth’ documentary.
Oh and even though Tarantino’s ‘Deathproof’ wasn’t all that, I have to say that the final scene is one of the best ever. Girl power! ;)
Category 9: what will 2008 have in stores for you?
Probably the same as every year: at least one a-ma-zing Untoten album ;) And to be serious: hopefully a few live gigs by bands that are still on my ‘to-see-wishlist’, a lot of great albums and loads of fun at the festivals. Oh and besides music… the long awaited Sex and the City movie, whoohoo! :)

P.S.:
2007 was a good year.
- Being together with my beloved Louwra since our marriage.
- Seeing Louwra get her dream job and develop with that.
- Renovating and redecoration our house, for which a lot more is still to do in 2008, starting with the garden (for which the designed sketch is ready next week, yeah!)
- Having made important choices with regards to work for the middle long term, with starting to work fulltime in education again (it costs time anyway, only this pays much better).
- Having started a new study for fun and long term.
- Gothtronic.com developed as ezine in 2007 to having a couple of thousand readers on a daily basis and next to that became a succesful booking agency.
- Having worked succesfully with Krause and DeadCell on their career in music.
- Great holiday in Ireland.
- The birth of a wonderful niece.
- Discovering the pleasures of an Xbox 360. ;)
And well, beside ''the bigger issues'' there were plenty more of nice little moments to cherish.
