The Crisis project came about in early 2009 after
recording the album ‘Reactor4’. Reactor number 4 was the nuclear
reactor that exploded within the Chernobyl nuclear power plant,
Ukraine, in 1986. It was considered to be the worst nuclear disaster in
history. The disaster left the city of Prypiat abandoned. To this day
the city remains an exclusion zone. The recordings on this album were
made to create a soundtrack for the nuclear era, when in 1986 the
Western world learned of the disaster.
