The Australian EBM industrial outfit Novakill is back with a new album named I Hate God. This is a powerful and varied EBM album with strong and highly danceable EBM tracks such as ‘Mistaken for God’, ‘We Work’, ‘Kombat’, 'Blood Elektrik' and ‘Demonizer’. Also more quiet and dark songs like ‘Exterminate’ or ‘Incise’ are highly effective with the threatening atmosphere and intriguing sounds. Each track has the effect of a stroke with a sledgehammer and all in all one can easily conclude that I Hate God is the best Novakill album to date. The songs are gripping and have a firm cyberpunk approach. The album contains a cover version of the Ultravox song ‘Sleepwalk’ and bonus remixes of ‘Demonizer’ made by three still unknown new industrial projects who have won a contest and gained a place on this release with it. Novakill delivered a smashing EBM album and this album has won the position of album of the month October on Gothtronic.
