Fallout Nation

Interview:
- Ext!ze: Hellektrostar

<< Back

The German-French cyber industrial outfit Ext!ze has with Fallout Nation its first full length studio album out. It features of course the club hits ‘Hellektrostar’ and ‘Poser’ and it also features a somewhat more quiet mix of the track ‘Red Water’ that could already be found as extra track on the Hellektrostar EP. Furthermore this album features a whole range of tracks with a mixture of industrial, techno and hardstyle trance. Pretty blunt but effective industrial dance music. Unfortunately Ext!ze doesn’t offer musical depth but instead only interchangeable dance floor tracks with constantly the same musical ingredients. It is apity the tracks are spoiled by the childish lyrics which are sung with a huge accent since a track such as ‘Aerial Zombies’ isn’t that bad musically. With a track like ‘Gothic Pussy’ however Ext!ze make a fool of themselves. For those who can’t get enough Fallout Nation features further remixes by a.o. FabrikC. It seems that Ext!ze is an infamous project that is either praised or despised. The real cyber industrial fanatic will however care less since the music of Ext!ze is highly danceable and ensures many hours of dancing pleasure.
